‘Allah is a Lie’

O Allah, are you nothing but a lie?
A cruel joke in a merciless sky?
Or have you fled, like a coward in flight,
Leaving us to rot in eternal night?

In mosques grand where shadows creep,
Where faith is sold and minds do sleep,
The silence laughs, a cruel deceit,
As Earth crumbles beneath Islam’s feet.

Perhaps you blind, perhaps you bind,
The foolish masses, the desperate mind.
Or is it power that you crave,
As you dig the world’s collective grave?

In sanctuaries built on bones,
Where sacred texts are hollowed stones,
The pious kneel, the wicked preach,
And still, no truth is within their reach.

In sacred texts, in empty rites,
We see the truth – your petty fights.
All we find is fear and strife,
And the bitter truth of a wasted life.

They chant of peace, yet blood is shed,
In every verse, a war is fed.
For pious flames and sacred strife,
They drown the world in holy blight.
